Aircraft Liaison Engineers - Hawaii

Description:
STS Engineering Solutions is currently hiring Aircraft Liaison Engineers for full time, remote work in Hawaii. Please note that while this is a work-from-home position, you must be located in Hawaii.

Job Duties:

• Support Principal Engineers providing expedient engineering support for line and check aircraft
• Develop designs and supporting analysis/calculations for structural aircraft discrepancies
• Apply cost analysis (repair vs. replace)
• Meet and/or exceed projected budgets and revenue forecasts for engineering services

Qualifications:

• BS Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university
• Must have a minimum of 5 years’ actual Airline or MRO Engineering experience
• Must be capable of performing basic analysis to show substantiation of repairs
• Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel
• Must be very familiar with SRMs and CMMs
• A&P preferred
• Boeing and Airbus background preferred
• CAD experience preferred
• Nacelle and T/R Repair experience preferred.
• Composite Materials repair preferred
• Able to accomplish structural analysis for substantiating aircraft repairs
• Thorough understanding of the applicable FAR’s
• Strong communications skills (oral and written)
