Health & Safety Administrator

Description:
PDS Tech is seeking a Health & Safety Administrator in Des Plains, IL

Responsibilities:

HS&E Business System Support 
• Provide support for all HSE department operations, including financial support: 
o SAP activities 
o Invoicing, requisitions, payments, (Control Risks Group; Contractor Data Bases; Survey Money etc.) 
o VOC Surveys 
• Support management of prequalification database requests from customers, vendors, including UOP sales and sales support 
o PQF databases such as ISNET world and PECS. This is essential to allowing UOP access to Global Refineries, Gas Processing sites .Potential financial Service and Sales Losses. 
• Support upkeep and maintenance of ES&E HSE SharePoint site 
• Support upkeep and maintenance MS: Documentum Map 
• Support upkeep and maintenance of existing HSE Categorization Spreadsheet 
• Support upkeep and maintenance of the UOP Travel Safety Form 


• Manage and maintain ES&E HS&E documentation such as OSHA logs, incident investigation & reports, and HSE action items. 
• Support improvement initiatives for HON HSE Management System 
o Aspect and Impact Register (A&I) and supporting action plan 
o Statuary Acceptance Test (SAT) 
• Lead and maintain Employee led Monthly Safety meetings (SMS) information including the roll out of new initiatives and communications. 

Field HS&E Program & HSE Training Program (IMPLEMENTATION OF PROGRAMS) 

HS&E Programs 
• Manage databases, documentation and records associated with existing HS&E Field programs 
• Support for HS&E program development as requested 

HS&E Training Program 
• Lead HSE Training Database management (HSE Tracking & Categorization Database – pilot) 
• Support as necessary to maintain the field HSE program, including 
o Creation and distribution of UOP Field Cards. . 
• Facilitate training improvements on content and delivery methods, including 
o Support the development of all HSE training modules, 
o Support HSE Learning Hub – Required to become a learning hub administer in order to manage HS&E training in the learning hub. 
o Support and coordinate logistics and arrangements for 3rd party instructor-led training (scaffold and confined space). 
o Support the production of online training. 
• Manage and Coordinate Safety Training vendors (Three Rivers, Miller, etc.); PPE vendors 
o Support PPE program on a weekly basis 

 *** Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred, high school diploma required at a minimum *** Experience with On-line database management required *** Excel and Microsoft Office experience required *** Photo editing software experience Is preferred *** Fieldglass will be used for timekeeping *** Long-term contract possible contract to direct opportunity based on business need and worker performance
