Welder

Description:
Required Skills -Requires a minimum of (2) years experience in manufacturing or related environment. Ability to work in an industrial environment and able to lift up to (40) lbs. unassisted. The majority of the work is performed in a sitting position. May occasionally perform duties in a standing position. May require minimal bending, lifting, squatting, kneeling, and climbing ladders and step stools. -Wear appropriate personal protective equipment as required, such as Safety Glasses, and Safety Shoes. -Must have basic computer knowledge. -Must be able to read and understand written process procedures in English, as well as, electromechanical blueprints and electronic schematics. -Record production and operational data on specified forms. Desired Skills –Experience or Training in GTAW (TIG) Welding with the ability to obtain AWS certification with minimal practice. Main Job duty- Carefully cutting open steel Transformer cases, utilizing small to medium sized hand held grinding tools. Prepping transformer cases for Weld processes. Assist with Machinist in performing prep work.
