R&D Engineers - Auburn Hills, MI

Description:
STS AeroStaff Services is hiring R&D Engineers for open positions in Auburn Hills, Michigan.

Job Duties:

• Analyze proposal product, equipment, customer specifications and process requirements to conceive and produce a practical mechanical design within the limitations defined by mechanical design leaders
• Assist design leaders in producing sub-assemblies by integration predetermined purchased components with manufactured details
• Produce design release packages in preparation for submission to project management
• Provide support to manufacturing to clarify design issues
• Other responsibilities and duties as assigned by management
• Has the authority and obligation to stop production in case unsafe working conditions are observed
• Has the obligation to notify the Director IO and the President for Safety related matters requiring immediate attention

Qualifications:

• University degree in engineering or college diploma in mechanical engineering technology or equivalent experience
• Three to Five (3-5) years’ experience in mechanical design
• Design experience should include familiarity with industrial washers and automation
• Design experience must include knowledge of fabrication and machining principles
• Good communication skills
• The ability to work in a team atmosphere
