Test Equipment Technician

Description:
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Test Equipment Technician for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
•Must have ability to obtain a clearance
•Experience working with and measuring optics
•Experience with test measurement calibration tools (interferometer, autocollimator, optical alignment scopes, IR equipment, oscilloscope, RF generator, DMM)
•Electronic experience
•Physical calibration experience
•Experience with Indy soft (current calibration system used by team)
•Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (to read procedures)


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Calibrates optical and electronic measuring equipment and signal generating equipment to conform to set standards.
•Tests, calibrates, adjusts, and maintains optical, electromechanical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydro mechanical, and pressure-type measuring and indicating instruments.
•Sets up calibration sequences, methods and procedures according to detailed specifications, blueprints, drawings, and requirements.
•Disassembles, cleans, repairs, and replaces defective parts of test equipment.
•May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
•Accredited HSD/GED

•4/10 work schedule
•1st SHift
