PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a global aerospace leader to hire a System Analysis & Design Engineer specializing in flight control systems. In this senior-level role, your work will directly impact the safety, performance, certification, and reliability of large commercial aircraft—from early design through production and in-service support.

Your Role and Impact

As a Senior Flight Control Systems Integration and Safety Engineer, you will design, analyze, test, and certify critical flight control systems and components. You’ll collaborate across disciplines to ensure systems meet rigorous regulatory standards while supporting manufacturing and fleet operations worldwide.

What You’ll Do Day to Day

  • Participate in and lead certification efforts, including system safety analysis, FMEA, fault tree analysis, and regulatory traceability

  • Resolve requirement conflicts and technical issues through analysis and design of Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) systems

  • Perform and document validation and verification analysis and testing at system and component levels

  • Monitor and analyze tests, author test reports, review supplier test data, and lead test failure resolution

  • Coordinate cross-functionally with avionics, pilots, safety, aerodynamics, software teams, suppliers, airline customers, and regulatory agencies

  • Develop technical solutions and dispositions to ensure customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance

  • Work independently under general direction in a fast-paced, safety-critical environment

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering

  • 5–7 years of technical experience working with Flight Control Systems
