Location: Torrance, CA | Schedule: 1st shift 6am to 2:30 pm | Payrate: $23/hour

About the Role
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading name in the aviation industry to find motivated Sheet Metal Workers ready to make an impact. In this hands-on role, you’ll help shape the very components that make aircraft fly—using your precision, skill, and eye for detail to bring engineering blueprints to life. Your work won’t just be part of a process—it’ll be part of a purpose.

What You’ll Be Doing
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Setting up and operating machinery such as drill presses, punch presses, shears, bending rolls, brakes, grinders, and numerical control equipment
Following detailed blueprints, sketches, and engineering drawings to accurately cut, form, and shape sheet metal
Using both hand and power tools to finish, smooth, and blend metal seams
Potentially operating soldering and welding equipment
Ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards
Collaborating with supervisors and teammates to meet production goals
Working in an environment where lifting over 30 lbs and operating near industrial machinery is expected

What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
2–4 years of experience in sheet metal work or a related field
Familiarity with standard metal fabrication tools and procedures
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
Strong adherence to safety procedures
Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in the aviation or aerospace industry
Proficiency with CNC equipment
Welding and soldering experience

Pay Details: $23.00 per hour
