Senior Structural Analyst

Description:
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Senior Structural Analyst for a contract opportunity in Greenville, TX.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
•Minimum of 18 years of aircraft structural analysis.
•Classical Stress Analysis.
•Finite Element Analysis Using MSC/NASTRAN and PATRAN.
•Analysis of Aircraft Structural Repairs.
•Preparation of Stress Reports for Aircraft Certification.
•Microsoft Word and Excel.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Stress and loads analysis of primary and secondary aircraft structure, equipment racks, and interior items using classical analysis methods and finite element techniques. Provide design support, detail stress analysis, and stress support to Liaison for modification of primary aircraft structure and interior items.
Major Functions:
•Stress Analysis of Primary and Secondary Aircraft Structure.
•Stress Support for New Design.
•Stress Support to Liaison Engineering.
•Preparation of Stress Analysis Reports.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
•Experience in the area of modification of transport category and general aviation aircraft is beneficial.
•Knowledge of Commercial and Military Aircraft Certification Requirements.
•Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Analysis.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
•Minimum of B.S. in Aerospace, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent field of study.
**Education MUST be accredited**

WORK HOURS:
•Full-time
•Monday-Friday 08:00am-05:00pm

ADDITIONAL:
•Candidate must hold an active secret clearance.
