PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry to hire a Mechanical System Analyst Engineer to support the development, analysis, and documentation of complex mechanical, fluid, and thermal systems. This role plays a critical part in ensuring aerospace systems are designed, verified, and integrated to meet demanding performance and safety requirements.
Role Summary & Impact
As a Mechanical System Analyst Engineer, you will support system-level design and analysis activities that directly impact aircraft and aerospace system performance. From defining requirements to validating system behavior and supporting suppliers, your work will help ensure mechanical and thermal systems meet specifications throughout development and production.
What You’ll Do Day to Day
Develop and document mechanical, fluid, and thermal system requirements to support system design
Perform and document analyses to verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications
Support the development, modification, and maintenance of system, component, and installation designs
Create and maintain technical documentation for downstream engineering and manufacturing teams
Review, rewrite, and assist with VPI’s, PROs, and policy documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
Support supplier development, integration, testing, and production activities
Provide technical direction to suppliers to optimize system integration and program outcomes
Contribute to installation and detail documentation for system components
Train and mentor other engineers as needed
Work under general direction while exercising sound engineering judgment
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline
1–2+ years of engineering experience (open to Level 2 or Level 3 candidates)
Experience supporting system-level mechanical design and analysis
Ability to perform and document technical analyses
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively across engineering, manufacturing, and supplier teams
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of engineering experience or Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience or PhD with relevant experience
Experience with aerospace mechanical, fluid, or thermal systems
Familiarity with requirements management and compliance documentation
Experience supporting suppliers in development and production environments
Ability to train or mentor junior engineers

Pay Details: $52.69 per hour
