CMM Operator- Job ID 45518

Description:
We have an Excellent Contract position for a CMM Operator to join a leading Company located in the Louisville, KY, area.

**US Citizenship Required**

Responsibilities:
Interprets geometric dimensioning and tolerancing specifications. Performs 1st piece, last piece, and in-process inspection checks.
Evaluates nonconforming material to determine final disposition.
Provides support to Manufacturing Engineering and other business units.
Working experience with Ansi Y14.5 GD&T.
CMM programming and operation using PC-Dmis.

Qualifications:
CMM programming and operation using PC-Dmis or equivalent software.
Working experience with Ansi Y14.5 GD&T.
Experience reading and working with blueprints.
Work history with portable Metrology Inspection and Alignment.
Understanding of and the ability to use shop math.

Basic Hiring Criteria:
Typically requires a High School diploma (or GED or equivalent) and 8 years related work experience, or an Associate's Degree and 6 years related work experience, or a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years related work experience, or the overall equivalent.
