NC Programmer - NX - Huntington Beach, CA

NC Programmer
Location: Huntington Beach, CA
Hourly Rate: $60.00 - $66.00
Duration: 6 months, possible extension
Benefits: Per Diem available, overtime possible, medical, dental, 401K
**Must be U.S. Person for purposes of Export Compliance.**

Required Education and Experience:
• Bachelors’ degree plus 10 or more years’ experience as an NC Programmer using NX OR high school diploma or GED plus 14 or more years’ experience as an NC Programmer using NX.
• Significant NC programming experience for 5-axis machining (non-metallic thermal protection tiles).
• Significant NC programming experience utilizing NX on DMS and Thermwood equipment.
• Aerospace and composites experience.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Provides expertise in numerical control, machining, programming and Design For Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) in support of new and ongoing projects.
• Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility.
• Plans and guides the development and integration of machining techniques, manufacturing methods, processes, software and equipment to support the design, manufacture and inspection of parts and assemblies.
• Identifies equipment and approaches, coordinates and assigns work and trains/mentors others.
