Mechanical Design Engineer

Description:
Must be able to obtain a Clearance

•Experience in mechanical design of assemblies and piece parts
•Proficiency in CAD tools (preferably Solidworks)
•Technical background in thermal and structural design and analysis
•Understand manufacturing technologies, techniques, and materials for mechanical parts
•Experience with prototyping of mechanical parts and inspection of dimensions and finishes
•Experience working with vendors, machine shops, and contract manufacturers
•Knowledge of CNC machines and their programming is a big plus
