Electronics Technician

Description:
Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electronics Technician for a contract opportunity in Palmdale, CA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
•Collaborates with others in troubleshooting and correcting problems related to the malfunctioning of industrial electronic and numerical control systems, including prototype systems.

•Works at various heights and operates and works from moving and/or telescoping boom vehicles and equipment as required.

•Minimum of one year of experience in electronic repair or servicing of machine tools or other electronically controlled closed-loop devices (production machinery).

•Minimum of one year of experience on PC/Computer controlled device operation, troubleshooting, and repair. (for example: Allen Bradley, Siemens, Rockwell automation)

•Minimum of one year of experience of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) set-up, troubleshooting, and repair.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
•We are seeking an experienced Electronics Technician who will be responsible for determining means and methods of operations in order to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex industrial electronic and numerically controlled systems and devices.
•This role requires a strong knowledge of electrical and electronic theory, maintenance shop practices, and procedures, troubleshooting and the elimination of variables.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
•Accredited HSD/GED

•4/10 work schedule
•1st Shift
