PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced Electronic Installation Design Engineer to support one of the world’s most innovative aerospace organizations. What You’ll Do

As an Electronic Installation Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in electrical integration for F-15 new development and production programs. Working under minimal direction, you will:

• Develop and maintain cable and wire harness detail and assembly designs
• Conduct and lead design analyses and design reviews
• Provide engineering design dispositions for discrepancies, including:
  • Rejection tags
  • Production action requests
  • Shop revision requests
• Document processes, specifications, and procedures for electrical commodity design and manufacturing
• Create complex statements of work, including budgets, schedules, and metrics
• Perform technical evaluations of supplier capabilities to support source selection
• Design aircraft equipment installations such as:
  • Trays
  • Shelves
  • Adapters
  • ECS ducts
• Collaborate across teams to ensure seamless integration across structures, subsystems, and electrical designs

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of aerospace design experience
• Proficiency in NX
• Degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, or related field
  • Bachelor’s +9 years of experience
  • Master’s +7 years of experience
  • PhD +4 years of experience
• Education from ABET-accredited program preferred (not required)
• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in model-based design
• Expertise in NX and Teamcenter
• Background in military aircraft programs
• Experience in structures or subsystems design
