Senior Electrical Engineer

Description:
Contract-to-hire for right candidate

Electrical Engineer needed to support development, documentation and testing of processor–based systems but also will require understanding of analog design. Will work directly with electrical and mechanical design staff, software development teams, customers, test laboratory resources and internal quality teams.

Responsibilities include:
•Assist in creating test procedures and supporting test equipment.
•Support design and analysis of primarily digital systems including PCB assemblies, mechanical packaging and interconnect cabling.

Qualifications/Requirements:
•10 years minimum design experience
•Experience in design of analog and digital systems
•Knowledge of RF systems helpful
•Knowledge of design to EMI and EMC requirements helpful.
•Experience in developing test procedures and fixtures
•Ability to translate customer documentation into a list of requirements
•Experience developing products for a Military environment
•Ability to read, create and review engineering drawings including schematics, assembly drawings and parts lists
•Ability to create test environments as required to qualify and test electronic PCBs and assemblies
•Ability to work in a collaborative environment with effective communications skills
•Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline.
•US Citizen

PREFERRED
Active security clearance preferred
