Seeking a talented and motivated Sr. Cloud Engineer who will be dedicated to work in the Infrastructure & Cloud Operations group within the Information Technology Department. Working under the Infrastructure Manager of IT, Sr. Cloud Engineer possesses knowledge in cloud computing, networking, and tuning.

Responsibilities:

This position will be hybrid: 1-3 days onsite This position will report directly to the IT Infrastructure Manager. Provides technical expertise and advice to systems professionals in support of the application environment as well as be an escalation point for other members of the team. Advanced knowledge and experience with Azure service offerings, including computing design, provisioning, and tuning. Advanced knowledge and experience with Azure core services; VMs, Blobs, Key Vaults, Networking, VNets, ExpressRoute and other Azure Infrastructure and Services. Advanced knowledge and experience to support, and deploy Cloud computing services, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS deployments. Strong ability to troubleshoot complex issues ranging from system resources to application stack traces. Ability to create and maintain PowerShell scripts or other software development languages Serve as primary and/or be part of Azure Cloud Engineering group. Ability to operate from task and project management tools, such as JIRA. Participate in end-to-end root cause analysis. Expert knowledge of system administration and security protocols for client/server environment deployed using Windows and working knowledge using Linux. Advanced experience and understanding with high availability, high performance, multi-data center systems and potentially hybrid cloud environments. Understanding of Microsoft Suite of products; Office 365, Windows Servers OS, Windows Active Directory and Windows OS. Work with current systems team to support Data Center and Cloud environments, Storage, Servers, Apps, etc. Participate in compliance and security reviews. Engage in 24x7 on-call rotation Travel to other company sites as needed; less than 10%. Other duties assigned by Manager.

Educational Requirements:

Associate Degree or higher or 5 yrs. of relevant Cloud Engineer or Administration experience Cloud certifications a plus - Azure

Knowledge/Experience:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills General understanding of Active Directory and Windows Server Administration Understanding of ITILv3 Self-starter with the ability to perform independently with little or no supervision Strong time-management skills with the ability to multi-task Effective collaborator with team members of both IT and other departments 5+ Years' experience in a cloud supporting or engineer role. Multi-cloud experience is a plus Azure, AWS, GPC, etc. Ability to communicate complex systems information clearly and concisely. Excellent communications skills verbal and written. Ability to thrive in a team environment. Available for after-hour work if/when required and subject to reasonable business travel. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds Helps others be successful in daily work. Proactively communicates with others and has good presentation skills Organizes and plans own work and that of other team members Can be counted on to meet commitments and execute work per schedule Takes responsibility for own professional development

Professional Requirements:

Certifications are a plus; Azure or any other cloud provider.
