Loads & Dynamics Analysis Support

Description:
Candidate will provide loads and dynamics analysis support for the SLS program launch and space vehicle hardware. Providing expertise on loads and dynamics of launch vehicles and spacecraft, including finite element and hand calculations and the determination of mode shapes, frequencies, stresses and deflections caused by transient loads, thermal conditioning and environments, random vibration and static loading conditions. Translating loads and dynamic criteria to requirement verification closure statements.

Required: B.S. degree and 25 years previous experience on NASA and/or Launch Vehicle design and analysis. M.S degree and 20 years previous experience on NASA and/or Launch Vehicle design and analysis. Minimum of 20 plus years’ experience in aerospace loads and dynamics analysis. Experience in launch vehicle analysis of pre-launch, liftoff and ascent flight mechanics analysis as it relates to loads and dynamic analysis.

NASA and/or Launch Vehicle design and analysis experience REQUIRED.

Desired: SLS experience preferred.
