Senior Engineer - Composite Blades (China)

Aerospace engine company are seeking a Senior Engineer with experience in the design, manufacture and test of composite turbine blades. Responsibilities for this role include:

* To organize the composite blade design, manufacture and test, provide technological guidance, review and sign the related technical documents.

* To coordinate and manage the external collaboration of the composite blade manufacture and test, and accept the test results.

* To establish and improve the composite blade design, manufacture and test quality system and assist project manager in making wok plans..

For this position the client is seeking previous experience in composite blade design, manufacture and test field, which will have been at a senior level with team leading and project management responsibilities. In addition a sound understanding of aircraft engine design, hydromechanics, machine design, mechanics of composite materials and composite fabrication is desirable.

Ideally the client is looking to hire someone on a fixed-term employment basis working directly for the Chinese client in Shanghai, with initial durations of between 1 and 4 years available (renewable). In addition to a generous salary the remuneration package includes accommodation (or allowances), home leave and local travel allowances, healthcare provision and other benefits.

Consideration will also be given to those who are looking to work on an hourly/daily paid consultancy basis and the client can be flexible on the hours of work in China when operating on this basis.
