Hydraulic Test Engineer - Aerospace

Description:
Essential Functions

• Author test procedures per customer requirements applicable specs to perform structural, environmental and performance tests.

• Design hydraulic circuits to be used for testing of hydraulic components.

• Assist with the design of test fixtures that will be used for hydraulic or electromechanical testing.

• Set up and document qualification tests per existing Qualification Test Procedures.

• Work with technicians to verify that the test setup matches the figures shown in the test procedure

• Create test data sheets to document the test results, and use standard forms to document test setups

• Conduct test readiness reviews with internal and external customers

• Work with outside laboratories to perform environmental tests

• Perform Qualification Testing per existing Qualification Test Procedures. Direct technicians to capture the correct data during each test.

• Create test reports that summarize the tests performed.

• Assist Design Engineers with failure troubleshooting of the tested units when necessary.

• Provide test status to program management
