FEA Engineer

Description:
Job Title: FEA Engineer

This position is for an experienced Stress Engineer to support Gas Turbine product development through performing detailed stress analysis and validation of structural components and assemblies.

Essential Job Functions

- Finite Element Analysis of Turbomachinery components

- Transient Thermal Mechanical, Non-linear and Fatigue

- Present results in Design Review achieving release of desired component deliverables.

- Ability to complete projects independently with minimal oversight to achieve project deliverables.
Turbomachinery component knowledge especially Gas Turbine knowledge preferred

- Experience in using a variety of engineering tools like ANSYS, MATLAB, MathCAD, Excel, etc.

- Exceptional communication skills

- Organizational and time management skills

- Ability to work solitary and with global teams

- Manage deliverables

Qualifications

BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering

Highly skilled in ANSYS and ANSYS Workbench

Proficiency in MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) required

Exposure to 3D CAD tools, Siemens NX preferred

Exposure to Gas Turbine components

Proficiency with office tools, MS Office, MS Excel, required
