PC Install Technician

Description:
Our client is looking for a PC Install Technician to assist with desktop PCs, application/software setup and resolving technical problems! For more information on this position, read below!

The ideal candidate for this position will perform the following tasks:
* Assist with Windows-7 to Windows-10 upgrades for all desktop PC’s. This will include PC hardware replacement and delivery of new system, hardware configuration and operating system installation.
* Application/software setup and migration of user data from existing equipment to new machines.
* Will be responsible for resolving technical problems and answering queries by telephone and use of electronic ticketing system.

Mandatory Qualifications and Experience:
* Strong PC and troubleshooting skills are necessary including software troubleshooting, Windows 7 OS, Windows 10 OS, Office 2016, working knowledge of Microsoft software and products.
* 2 years of PC installation experience.
* High School Diploma
* Experience with desktop imaging (Symantec Ghost or LANDesk) and deployment services.
* 2 years of desktop troubleshooting experience.
* 2 years’ experience with Microsoft networking.
* Unbox PC hardware, deliver new and pick up old PC’s to users’ desk
* Will require the driving of company vehicles. To meet this requirement you will need a valid driver’s license and be able to provide current motor vehicle driving report.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:
* Knowledge and experience working with LANDesk deployment and service desk solutions a plus.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following skills and characteristics:
* Able to lift 50 lbs.
