Location: Huntsville, AL
Rate: $40.00 - $45.00/HR
Duration: 6+ month contract
Shift: 1st Shift
Travel: Yes – Colorado Springs, CO

**MUST have an Active Secret Clearance or have had one with the last 2 years**

Description
- Applicant will be key contributor to the design and development of Java-based C2BMC applications.
- Candidate will help generate software design artifacts, implement software changes, support design and code reviews, support software testing and resolution of issues arising from software testing.
- The successful candidate will have good verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Applicant should have a working knowledge of MS Office products.
- Some travel to Colorado Springs may be required.

Skill/Experience/Education
Mandatory:
- 2+ years of experience required.
- Hands on Java or C++ software design, development, and unit test experience are required.
- Application development in a UNIX/Linux platform environment as well as Windows OS platforms is required.
- Other technical skills include experience developing software using software development and management tools such as Clearcase, Eclipse, and Junit.
- Knowledge of secure programming practices, Risk Management Framework compliance, system administration skills for both Unix and Windows, Role Based Access Control design/implementation
