STS AeroStaff Services is currently hiring Information Security Administrators for open positions in East Aurora, New York.

Job Summary:

The Security Administrator’s role is to ensure the secure operation of the in-house computer systems, servers, and network connections. This includes checking server and firewall logs, scrutinizing network traffic, establishing and updating virus scans, and troubleshooting. This person will also analyze and resolve security incidents and vulnerability issues in a timely and accurate fashion, and conduct user activity audits where required.

Job Duties:

• The Security Administrator is responsible for the day to day Administration and Change Management of the core Information Security Technology Stack
• This includes applying configuration changes and managing the life cycle of the systems including software and hardware upgrade projects as directed by the Security Operations Manager through a change management process
• Producing quality documentation, adherence to standards and policy, and identifying issues proactively are key functions of the Security Administrator role
• The successful Security Administrator will become highly proficient with the Security Technology Stack in use at our client and will be required to undertake periodic training and certification with these technologies in order to demonstrate their level of proficiency
• This position is a 6 month contract term with a focus on optimizing and running the Trend Micro Deep Security, Office Scan, Endpoint Encryption and other Trend Micro and security technologies used by our client
• The successful candidate shall support the Security Operations Manager by providing technical mentorship to other IT Operations team members and help identify those individuals who would make strong security operations team members
• The term may be extended based on performance and continued operational requirements

Qualifications:

• The candidate shall have 5+ years’ experience in Security, with 3+ years’ working with Trend Micro software
