Embedded Software Engineer

Description:
Embedded Software Engineer
Embedded Software Engineer to support embedded software development and programming for integration and software configuration management activities.
Must have software embedded development experience (ideally 5 recent years) utilizing C++, C++ 11, C++ Templates, real-time embedded, VxWorks or Linux OS.

Required Skills:

•Must have software embedded development experience (ideally 5 recent years) utilizing C++, C++ 11, C++ Templates, real-time embedded controls, VxWorks or Linux OS, and integration experience
•CAN development and IP protocols
•Configuration management would be a plus
•US Citizen only due to security clearance required.

Responsibilities

•Solid programming experience in C++, with experience in Object Oriented software and design principles. Additionally knowledge of C, C++ 11, C++ Templates, and Python is desired.
•Working knowledge of Continuous Integration concepts with experience in the Atlassian Tool Suite or GIT (JIRA, Confluence, HipChat, Bitbucket, and Bamboo) is preferred.
•Support software configuration management, software process, and QA efforts
•Provide software integration support to internal and external customers.
•Support code development and review, integration, testing and debugging of embedded system software.
•Analyze and troubleshoot software defect and stability in embedded robotic systems or image processing applications
•Assess third party and open source software
•Proven experience in embedded systems design with preemptive, multitasking real-time operating systems, Linux OS coding techniques, IP protocols, and interfacing hardware and software subsystems
