Job Summary:
A Systems Administrator is responsible for the effective & efficient provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of server systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. In addition, this covers the adoption of OE related processes and procedures guaranteeing the implementation of system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures that adheres with technology direction and policies.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Engineers of SA-related solutions for various minor projects and operational needs
- Contributes to and maintains system standards
- Researches and recommends innovative, and where possible, automated approaches for sys admin tasks.
- Provides Level 2 & 3 support per request from end users.
- Investigates and troubleshoots complex issues.
-Building new and integrating servers, patching work stations.
- Repairs/recovers from hardware and software failures; coordinates and communicates with impacted end users.
- Performs periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning.
- Performs ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Configures CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required.
- Prepares reports and presentations as requested or necessary within IT & minor customers.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
System Administrator with 5-7 years of experience

Preferred Skills
Technology Family: Windows, Windows Infrastructure (AD, DNS, WINS, DHCP, File & Print mgmt., IIS, FTP), Anti-Virus; PowerShell Scripting Experience in any of the following areas is a plus: VMware; NAS Storage; Backup software; Tape backup systems; Citrix; Windows SCCM; SharePoint
