GC - HANDLING QUALITIES/CONTROL LAWS - Grade 07

Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION
The job entails Control Law (CLAW) algorithm development, requirements documentation and flow down, test vector development and implementation, handling qualities evaluations of CLAWS, and evaluation of reversionary modes & failures.
Education: BS Aerospace, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering w/5+ years of experience in CLAW Design and Analysis

QUALIFICATIONS
The candidate must have a thorough knowledge of CLAW design, linear and non-linear analysis techniques, time and frequency domain analysis, and an understanding of flight dynamics. Experience and knowledge with Matlab/Simulink is required. Experience with helicopter flight dynamics simulation modelling is a plus. Good familiarity with modern flight control law architectures including Model Following fly-by-wire CLAWs is a must. Candidate should be familiar with DOORs and have experience with System Integration Lab (SIL) formal testing of control laws.

COMMENTS
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment is required.
U.S. citizenship required.
