Job Description:
The individual will be responsible for the following:

-Conducting required work measurement, cost reduction, process/product flow analysis, and capacity utilization studies. Develop and assist team in executing modifications based on desired results.

-Program layout planning and implementation.
-Analyzing and developing production plans based on program milestones

-Creating assembly work instructions based on the drawings and/or models

-Providing technical guidance and timely problem resolution in support of manufacturing operators to facilitate assembly performance.

-Supporting the investigation of root cause of failures/defects and implement corrective action to support continuous improvement.

-Creating and updating simulations to analyze production requirements, bottlenecks and process improvements

-Applying lean manufacturing techniques to reduce cost and increase yields.

-Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

-May be required to develop cost estimates in support of proposals.

Mandatory Skills:
- Process Improvement experience
- Work Measurement and Labor Standards
- Excellent verbal/ written communications skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Self-starter with demonstrated self-initiated goals and results.
- Demonstrated capability to multitask in support of multiple concurrent programs and initiatives.
- Microsoft Office suite experience with MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
