Project Manager

Description:
Leads and directs one or more project teams engaged in the design, implementation and modification of IT projects that span across functional organizations. The Project Manager oversees and manages the operational aspects of new and ongoing projects and serves as liaison between program management, project team, and resource management. Manages project status, budget, schedule and performs management project reviews. The PM assesses project issues such as costs, schedule, deliverables and Hardware/Software requirements. The PM is responsible for: Developing a viable project plan to satisfy the project charter and business requirements; management of quality, time, costs, risks, issues and actions; effective resource management and procurement oversight; adequate and timely execution of communications plan; effective change control; satisfactory compliance to guidelines, policies and procedures. *Basic Qualifications BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Management , Information Technology, or other relevant discipline; Position requires at least nine (9) years of work experience in providing or managing IT services or seven (7) years with a related Master’s Degree; Demonstrated ability to accomplish work objectives within a matrixed organizational environment.
