Mechanical Assembly Trainer

Description:
Candidate shall perform Aerospace Mechanical Assembly Training services tasks in support of the SLS Training program. The tasks include but not limited to: Training on Chemical Conversion Coatings. Training on Electrical/Mechanical Torque. Training on Sealing. Training on Bonding and Ground Resistance Measurements. Training on Manufacturing Measuring Tools. Training on Adhesive Bonding. Training on Hole Drilling – Fastener Installation. Perform analyses to evaluate customer technical training needs to help determine appropriate training content, objectives and design. Coach and mentor team members and leaders using existing processes and procedures. Support the development, delivery and evaluation of technical and skills training. Follow processes for identifying training content and evaluating training effectiveness. Participate in training design reviews engages with customers, suppliers, and contract personnel. Perform research; provides formative feedback on projects during design and development. Document and verify certification data, collaborate with employees and management to ensure certifications remain current. Develop and delivers classroom, structured on-the-job (SOJT) and practical training.

Required: Candidate must have 5-11 years of experience. Candidate must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite. Must be able to obtain access to NASA facilities. Must be able to pass drug test and background check prior to the start of work. Must be a United States Citizen.
