Tool Design Engineer (Jig & Fixture)

Description:
Need Tool Design Engineer (Jigs & Fixture).

Job Location: Sparks, MD.
Duration: 9+ Months.

Job Duties and Responsibilities : -
• Design of new jigs, fixtures, and other related equipment for Electro -mechanical parts.
• Lead and Assist in trouble shooting of new and existing tools with GD&T , Manufacturing knowledge
• Design modifications to existing jigs, fixtures, and other related equipment.
• Assist in process/tool development as needed.
• Assist vendors with tooling and production parts as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Skills and Abilities:
• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering .The equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Min 6 years’ experience in production/manufacturing engineering environment is required; 6-10 years’ related overall experience is preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of experience utilizing 3D CAD software
• Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS will be added Advantage.
• Any Certification like Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification will be added advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels within and the organization.
Others :
•Ability to speak, read, write and comprehend the English language.
•Ability to work with others in a team environment.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, specifically Word and Excel.
