Subcontracts Administrator

Description:
Our client is looking for a Subcontracts Administrator with 4 years experience in contract/subcontract administration! Apply today if you have the skills!

The ideal candidate for this position will perform the following tasks:
* Responsible for subcontract and company agreement execution and administration to include solicitation, source selection, negotiation, subcontract placement, supplier performance management, and subcontract closeout in accordance with customer requirements, government regulations, and company policies & procedures.
* Performs subcontract administration functions on new and existing subcontracts with a value of up to $100M for assigned categories or suppliers
* Assists Programs and Subcontract Managers in the development of procurement strategies including a clear, concise, actionable Statement of Work (SOW)
* Conducts the supplier selection process, performs costs/price analysis, and conducts price and terms & conditions negotiations
* Manages modifications and change orders in support of customer demands and all other aspects of day-to-day subcontract administration
* Prepares compliant procurement packages including the development of concise justifications of award to support government audits to maintain an approved purchasing system
* Prepares and submits Assistant Contract Officer (ACO) Consent Packages to Program Representatives
* Administers supplier closeouts and completes required checklists and templates.
* Coordinates involvement of required team members in closeout (Property Management, Compliance, Finance, etc.)

Mandatory Qualifications and Experience:
* 4 years’ experience in contract/subcontract administration
* Working and practical knowledge of supply chain, sourcing, and supplier management
* Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) and related federal and state legislation and regulations
* Familiar with project management applications in planning, launching, and executing projects
* Basic knowledge of business law, contractual terms and conditions, and how to mitigate risk
* Proficient in Microsoft applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint)

Desired Qualifications and Experience:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Management or related field preferred
* Experience with Company and Corporate Agreements to include Information Technology, Human Resources, Multi-Function Printers and Software Licensing

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following skills and characteristics:
* Strong negotiation, oral and written communications skills with an ability to communicate with a wide variety of levels and positions within the organization including Director and VP-level
* Leadership, networking, and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop productive working relationships with others
