Software Engineer

Description:
Our client is looking for a few Software Engineers with C/C++ development experience! Apply today if you have the skills!

The ideal candidate for this position will perform the following tasks:
* Support the SBIRS program with formal requirements-based qualification testing of the flight software. This will require learning details about the flight software system, subsystems, and an LM-developed test environment in order to implement comprehensive tests to verify requirements and support validation activities.
* Responsible for implementing assigned test cases, debugging test scripts, generating defect reports/change requests for issues with software or test products, working with other teams to implement those changes/fixes, moving tests and results through the review process, and potentially implementing some tools and utilities to help streamline the test process.

Mandatory Qualifications and Experience:
* Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline
* Must be a U.S. Citizen
* Experience with C/C++ development.
* Experience with Linux or Unix Software development or scripting experience
* Two years related software development and software test experience with complex embedded systems.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:
* Experience with Python, C/C++, XML, SCL (Spacecraft Command Language), and/or shell scripting Experience with requirements verification, test design, test execution, and black-box testing methodologies
* Experience with DOORS, requirements traceability Experience with A2100TR or SBIRS programs
* Comfortable working directly with hexadecimal/binary and assembly-level code
