Senior Lead Firmware Engineer

Description:
We are looking for a senior level firmware engineering lead with significant experience in low level firmware especially DDR/DRAM, NVDIMM areas. You will be responsible for first silicon bring-up, debug and development of firmware.

Minimum Qualifications:

BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent with 15+ years of firmware architecture, design, development and validation experience preferably in the Server Industry. MS is preferred.

5+ years of deep firmware experience with multiple DDR/DRAM, memory controllers, NVDIMM and high-performance server memory areas.

Hands on experience in analyzing memory related specifications, datasheets / schematics, and developing firmware and test software.

Hardware-firmware co-design and board bring-up experience with SoCs and/or Customer Reference Platforms.

Proven record of meeting tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.

Use of GIT, Jira, Microsoft Office, Linux and Windows based Development Experience.

Use of JTAG, hardware debuggers, PCIe and other protocol analyzers and developing test applications.

Demonstrated experience in the following areas would be a huge plus:

ARM assembly, ARMv8, Management Controller (M3, M7) SOC firmware development experience is desired.

Experience with 64-bit platforms and SMP.

Strong embedded / server firmware development experience.

Passion to learn and work on next generation latest technologies and make it work for great performance throughput.

Experience in working with cross functional teams and large customers across the globe in different time zones is required.

Great analysis and problem-solving skills.

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Detail oriented and able to articulate and present to cross functional teams, executive management and customers.

Platform firmware/UEFI BIOS development experience in C, OS and Kernel debugging skills.

Additional experience in Networking, PCIe, NVMe, SAS/SATA, I2C, SPI, Flash, SD/MMC, USB areas is desired.
