Systems Engineer - Aerospace/Avionics

Description:
Major purpose:
Contractor will provide technical expertise for the definition, design, testing, verification, and validation of total training systems solutions used in military flight and maintenance training systems.

Major functions:
• Control the design and development of systems
• Execute system engineering efforts within the allotted budget and schedule
• Determine, clarify, understand, document, and disseminate the expectations of customers and end users
• Design and develop solutions that meet or exceed customer and end user expectations
• Lead and/or participate in all phases of system design, including customer/end user interface, requirements capture and analyses, development of architectural views, design of systems, detailed design support, integration support, test procedure development, and test support
• Orchestrate efforts of team members and incorporate their knowledge in the design
• Reach customer and end user concurrence on requirements and design solutions
• Ensure processes and procedures for analyses, designs, developments, implementations and evaluations of training systems are effective to meet customer and end user expectations
• Ensure coordination of the project technical development to maximize reuse and new technology design elements consistent with company strategic objectives as appropriate
• Create and maintain project and product line systems documentation in order to support project documentation deliverables and follow-on development efforts across the product line
• Others as assigned

Requirements:
Must have a BA/BS Degree Minimum
Previous Systems Engineering experience, preferred Avionics Systems Experience.
