Landing Gear Design Engineer W/Secret Clearance (147)

Description:
*This is full time, 6 month contract position located in Palmdale, CA*

We are hiring for an Aerospace Design Engineer who will be designing landing gears for military aircraft. Candidate will be working with MIL-SPEC and MIL-STDs.

On a daily basis, candidate will be creating drawings, schematics, work instructions, SOWs, BOMs, including selection of materials, creation and or modification of requirements, interface/supplier control drawings, performance specifications, system checkout procedures, trade studies, and component/ground/flight test plans.

Required:

*12-15 years experience designing landing gears.

*Ability to read and create schematics, drawings and interpret work instructions.

*Experience with GD&T

*Active Secret Clearance

Pluses:

*Experience designing using Catia
