Senior Engineer (Engine Life Management) - China

Description:
As part of major development programs this aircraft engine company are seeking a Senior Engineer with extensive experience in turbofan engine life management. Experience and responsibilities will include:

* Engine important parts life management – including fatigue/creep life, crack propagation method development & life related technical problems within design, test, manufacture and service
* Critical parts safe life determination, test and life improvement
* Life limited parts airworthiness certification
* Creation of life management rules and establishment of life depletion monitoring system.

The position is based at the company’s modern development facility on the outskirts of Shanghai.

The client is flexible on the hiring model and this role would be either an initial 6 month hourly-paid contract (with a view to further long-term contract extensions) or alternatively a fixed-term employment contract of 1-3 years, with allowances for accommodation, healthcare, transport etc.
