Human Factors Engineer – St. Louis, MO
Hourly Rate: $55.00 - $70.00
Duration: 6 months, possible extension
Per Diem Split available, overtime possible, medical, dental, 401K

Required:
• All positions require a Bachelors’ degree in an engineering classification.
• Mid-career to Senior Level positions require 5 to 14 or more years’ relevant experience.
Candidates must have:
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience performing Human Factors Engineering.
• Aircraft systems use and maintenance.
• Crew Vehicle Interfaces.
• Human interface into/with the weapon system.
• Must be capable of obtaining a U.S. Secret Clearance if required.

Human Factors Engineer
• Understanding of tasks and performance requirements for aircrew and maintainers and experience analyzing data.
• Defining system performance requirements, integrating technical parameters to ensure compatibility of physical, functional, and program interfaces with human operators and maintainers.
• Knowledge of military standards (such as MIL-STD-1472, MIL-STD-1474, MIL-STD- 1787, MIL-STD-3009, and JSSG-2010)
• Ability to perform several of the following types of Human Factors Analyses: Design for Maintainer Analysis, Crew Station and Operator Analysis, Usability Analysis, Signal Analysis for Warnings/Cautions/Advisories, Anthropometric Studies, Task Analysis, Workload Assessments, Aircraft lighting and Night Vision Testing.
• Familiarity with Human Systems Integration (HSI) planning and execution.
• Monitoring supplier design to ensure Human Engineering requirements are incorporated in their design.
