RFIC Design Engineer

Description:
Seeking a RFIC Layout Engineer located in Irvine, CA

RESPONSIBILITIES:
As layout designer you will work with the RFIC/Mixed signal designers on layout and verification of custom RFIC designs.

o Participating in the chip floor plan and power/ground distribution planning.
o Performing layout of custom RF and analog circuit blocks.
o Integrating standard cell blocks.
o Performing top level integration with ESD structures and pad-ring assembly.
o Performing DRC and LVS checks.
o Experience in 28nm and advanced node IC layout.
o Proficient with Cadence tool suite.
o Proficient with Calibre.
o Able to work independently on challenging problems.
o Experience in layout of sensitive RF blocks such as LNA and mixers.
o Understand layout considerations for matching and noise isolation.

Preferred Skills and Experience:
o Experience in layout of circuits with frequencies up to 30GHz.

EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's degree in an Electrical Engineering
