EMC/EMI TEST TECHNICIANS - AEROSPACE / DEFENSE / COMMERCIAL / FCC

Description:
Johnson Service Group, a leading Engineering Staffing and Consulting company has an immediate opportunity for talented EMC/EMI Test Technicians.

Required Experience and Responsibilities:

-2-4 years+ of experience in test set up and execution of EMC/EMI testing.

-Understanding of EMI/EMC related technology and equipment including Spectrum Analyzers, RF Amplifiers.

-Ability to execute EMC Control Plans, EMI Test Plans, procedures and reports.

-Familiarity with seismic and EMI/RF testing is a plus.

-Experience with MIL Std-461, or DO-160, and/or Commercial FCC standards.

-Experience with LabVIEW, or another data acquisition system, is a plus.

-Will provide EMC/EMI testing and compliance services to clients.

-Coordinate the maintenance and calibration of EMC test equipment.

-Maintain a high degree of knowledge of regulatory standards and testing procedures.

-Will contribute to test set-ups, and operate/adjust test equipment for EMI/EMC testing.

-Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.

-Ability to function well in a team environment.

-Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

Education: 2 year Associate's Degree or 4 year Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar engineering-related field is preferred.

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 3 months+

Location:  Rockford, IL

Compensation:   Highly competitive compensation and benefits.

Citizenship:  U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (legally able to work in the United States) is required
