Job Title: Non-Metallics Materials Engineer III
45/hr max

Duties: ** Candidates must be U.S. Citizens **** Permanent residents are NOT eligible for this role **** Dual citizens are NOT eligible for this role. Also, candidates with a current non-U.S. passport in addition to a U.S. passport are NOT acceptable **

-Materials Engineer providing non-metallic material-related support for the design, development, and production of liquid rocket engine systems.
-Knowledge of plastics, composites, ablatives, ceramics, and cleaning and other chemical processes preferred.
-Select materials for product application, define processes, review engineering drawings for materials and processes concerns, generate reports to document technical conclusions/findings, and present data during various design reviews.
-While general materials knowledge is required, direct experience in materials and processes engineering associated with liquid rocket engine design and production is preferred
Skills: -Strong written and oral communication skills.
-Fluency in MS Office applications including MS Word, Excel, and PPT.
Keywords:
Education: -Bachelor degree in Materials, Chemical, or Metallurgical Engineering discipline, or in Chemistry, is preferred, and minimum of five years of directly related technical experience in engineering disciplines or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
-Advanced degree typically preferred.
