Software Engineer Level 3-4

Location: Centennial, CO
Pay Rate: DOE
Duration: 1 year contract
**MUST be a U.S. CITIZEN**

Position Overview:
-Formal Qualification Testing of the flight software is accomplished with a hardware-in-the-loop integrated test environment.
-The Company system to support this testing is called KITE (Kommon Integrated Test Environment).
-The activity being supported is the non-recurring development of the KITE system.
-Embedded Software / Aerospace Engineers with hardware-in-the-loop development experience and Simulation Software Engineers with C++ and FORTRAN programming language experience will support the development of the KITE system for the Common Avionics program.

Specific Tasks:
-Supporting the integration & implementation of both 6-DOF kinematic and avionics models in KITE
-Identifying and resolving sources of navigation error
-Developing automated solutions for the post-processing and formatting of data deliverables from KITE generated data
- KITE test operation
-Development of KITE unit and regression test code.
-The effort is a Level 3-4 equivalent due to the complexity and degree of expertise, speed of execution, and independence needed to execute this effort.

Required Qualifications
-Real Time 6-DOF motion simulation experience,
-Experience with C++ and FORTRAN,
-Experience with Object Oriented Design,
-Experience with Real-time Simulation Systems development
-Experience with Linux Development.
-Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualifications
-Hardware Emulation Experience,
-MIL-STD-1553 experience,
-Ethernet Experience,
-Experience working with JIRA, Scrum and Agile.
