Vehicle Mechanical Mobility Engineer (012)

Description:
*This is a full time 1 year contract position, located in Sterling Heights, MI*



We are hiring for a vehicle mechanical system engineer who will be working on terrestrial military vehicles designed to MIL-STDs. System work will be to design and create vehicle model formulation diagnostic logic design, fault database analysis, systems architecture analysis and design, and analog or digital systems engineering.

Duties may include diagnostic systems modeling, simulation, working with diagnostic software, testing, resolving hardware/software problems.
Required:
*6 year experience in vehicle core power train and engine integration

*Familiar with diesel engines, transmissions, or cooling systems
*Experience working with vehicle hydraulics, heat transfer, electrical systems, electromechanical sensors, etc.
*Engineering or similar degree



Plus:

*Experience in combat vehicle engines/transmissions, or powertrain cooling systems

*Development of powertrain models in AMESim
