Job Description

An experienced system engineer with the ability to develop and/or review system requirements in alignment to customer specifications resulting in hardware and software requirement flow-down. Ability to develop test cases and procedures, test execution, PR generation and resolution, configuration of hardware and software test equipment and diagnose problems



Experience: 5 + years



Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, EE, systems



Specific Hardware/Software:

Avionics: IO interfaces- CAN Bus, IEEE 1394, MIL-STD 1553, A429, RS422, PCIE,



Must have skills:

Requirements development, systems integration and verification, use of lab test equipment, ability to understand software and hardware enough to troubleshoot issues, problem analysis and resolution, good communication skills, ability to work independently but as part of a team to provide feedback and problem management, understanding of project management to schedule and budget



Desired skills:

DOORs, GEARS

Experience with C code and assembly language for Power PC processors.

General lab skills to support testing of product and its interfaces.

FAA certification experience, such as usage of any of the following processes - DO-254A, ARP4754A, DO-178C.
