Description:

Qualifications: Bachelors of Electrical Engineering with two years of engineering experience, Masters of Electrical Engineering with no prior experience, or similar degree background. Previous shipbuilding experience is highly desired.

Must be able to pass background and drug tests

Job Description: Candidate will be responsible for establishing, overseeing, and managing all activities related to assigned shipboard systems.
Candidates will perform the following: Research, development, and design of electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks in accordance with all contractual requirements, military and commercial specifications; initiate procurement specifications; review and approve vendor proposals; review, comment on, adjudicate and approve vendor furnished information for translation into construction products; interface with vendors and Navy technical representatives; support vendor design reviews and testing; develop drawings and other documents.
