Airworthiness Engineer (Engines) - China

Description:
Aerospace engine company are seeking an experienced Airworthiness Engineer with aircraft engine experience for its turbofan engine development programme. Duties and responsibilities for the role will include:


* Plan the construction of airworthiness management system and airworthiness technical standard system, establish and improve airworthiness management documents and airworthiness technical standard documents;

* Organize the planning, implementation, inspection and improvement of airworthiness management at all stages of type certification and production certification;

* Organize airworthiness inspection activities by authority and organize internal rectification for problems found in the inspection activities;

* Responsible for planning airworthiness management requirements for domestic and foreign suppliers at all stages of type certification, organizing and carrying out airworthiness inspection of suppliers;

* Guide the research and evaluation of airworthiness management project of the company.


For this role the client is looking for a senior airworthiness engineer with at least 10 years airworthiness management experience in aviation industry. Ideally this will include experience in the certification of aircraft engine development programs to EASA/FAA regulations.

Ideally the client is looking to hire someone on a fixed-term employment basis working directly for the Chinese client in Shanghai, with initial durations of between 1 and 4 years available (renewable). In addition to a generous salary the remuneration package includes accommodation (or allowances), home leave and local travel allowances, healthcare provision and other benefits.

Consideration will also be given to those who are looking to work on an hourly/daily paid consultancy basis and the client can be flexible on the hours of work in China when operating on this basis.
