Description:
Location: Centennial, CO
Duration: 12 month contract
Pay Rate: DOE
Per Diem Split: Yes (if eligible)

Job Description:
Researches, designs and develops instruments, automation controls, engines, machines, mechanisms, hydraulics, heat transfer, cryogenic and ordnance components and systems that are used in the transmission, measurement and use of energy. Application of mechanical engineering principles to the planning, design, development and testing of mechanical systems.

Required Skills:
- Self starter with ability to perform well without constant oversight
- Expert in NX 11 modeling
- Proficient in metallic launch vehicle (or aircraft) structural design
- Proficient in model based definition using NX 11 PMI suite
- Expert using Team Center 11
- Proficient skills in geometric dimensioning and tolerance requirements
- Proficient in performing complex tolerance studies both static and dynamic
- Experience performing and managing structural tests

Desired Skills
- Experience in performing strength analysis

Education requirement:
- Requires a bachelor’s degree and 4 -8 years of experience
