Avionics Software Engineer - 100% ONSITE

Description:
Responsibilities:

Gather requirement for the application from the stakeholders
Develop and maintain software applications adhering to coding standards and best practices
Interface with stakeholders and other SMEs to engineer software solutions
Actively participate in code reviews, requirements development, internal audits, and other software-related development and verification activities
Contribute to continuous improvement of the software development and integration process within the department
Educational Requirements:

Must have a B.S. or M.S. in an Engineering discipline from an accredited university.
Knowledge/Experience:

Strong proficiency in C/C++, Python
Experience writing software on an RTOS platform
Experience in developing tools and applications for automated testing
Experience in system and software verification techniques and best practices
Experience with communications over RS232, RS485, ARINC 429, CAN and Ethernet
Experience with python for automated testing and test framework development
Experience with the Atlassian software project management suite including JIRA, Bitbucket (Git), Confluence, and Crucible
Preferred Experience:

Experience with software development for safety critical applications
Experience with software development and verification for Avionics applications


Professional Requirements:

1-4 years of experience building tools and applications to interface with safety critical systems
