Description:
Aircraft Fire Protection Systems Specialist - China.


Our Aerospace Client in China requires additional support for their current and future programs. They desire an Engineer or Specialist with strong experience In Aircraft Fire Protection Systems.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with our client and to significantly contribute towards the success of their existing and new aircraft programs.



Required Experience and Qualifications:
 
  • At least 3 years experience in aircraft fire protection design or fire protection system design.
  • Participated in aircraft fire prevention or Airworthiness of fire prevention system.
  • Experience in aircraft system integration design.
  • Have the ability and experience of CFD calculation and analysis.
  • Have participated in at least one type of aircraft fire protection or fire protection system design.
  • Familiar with Halon alternative fire fighting technology, relevant working experience is preferred.
  •  Aircraft system engineering design; aircraft fire protection system design; fire science; computational fluid dynamics; fire simulation and simulation; basic knowledge of aircraft airworthiness certification.
  • Be able to design and integrate related subsystems independently.
  • Be able to independently carry out fire extinguishing system performance simulation analysis or aircraft fire simulation.
  • Be able to independently carry out the test design of related subsystems of fire protection system.
  • Conscientiousness, good teamwork spirit, good communication and coordination ability, multi-cultural working atmosphere.
  • Proficient in English listening, speaking, reading and writing.
  • Degree qualified or Doctorate.
Role and Duties:
 
  • Design of fire protection system for specified aircraft.
  • Definition and confirmation of fire protection system requirements for specified aircraft models.
  • Airworthiness verification plan formulation and compliance description of fire protection system for specified aircraft models.
  • Simulation analysis of fire extinguishing system for specified aircraft.
  • Selection and evaluation of environmental protection fire extinguishing agent.
  • Environmental protection fire extinguishing system design and verification test planning, and participate in the construction of test facilities.
  • Work related to airworthiness certification of environmental protection fire extinguishing system and communicate with FAA, EASA and other authorities.
  • Participate in fire risk analysis and assessment of specified aircraft models.
  • Participate in the formulation of fire extinguishing system simulation analysis specification.

Candidates should be prepared to live and work in China full time  on a fixed term contract basis - duration 1-3 years. Applicants are asked to highlight their relevant experience upon application.
