Quality Engineer

Description:
Must be Eligible for a Clearance

The Engineering Quality Assurance Engineer will be working with software and hardware supporting Live Fire Army training.

The hardware includes various computing and networking components along with various battle targets and simulators. The software allows the operators to create various training sessions, control the training environment, and provide feedback to the groups.

Familiarity with supporting software development including reviewing Problem or enhancement tickets (Understanding the Agile methodology is a plus)

Familiarity with system (software and hardware) integration and testing (including participation in design reviews, test readiness reviews, test witnessing, and deployment readiness reviews

Considerable skill in reviewing documents/plans/procedures//drawings/instructions for conformance to requirements (system, product, and software) and ability to communicate issues/needed changes

Experience in conducting internal audits/assessments (Experience in supporting ISO 9001 and CMMI assessments a plus)

Familiarity with supporting process management, programmatic metrics, and programmatic reviews
