Embedded Software Engineer, Secret Clearance (575)

Description:
*This is a full time, 1.5 year contract located in Grande Prairie, TX*






We are hiring a contract Real Time Embedded C/C++ software engineer who will be working on Secret level radar projects for a military/DoD subcontractor. The position requires a candidate with strong background in the full development lifecycle including architecture design. Applicant will be working on supporting integration of software functionality into tactical military hardware.



Required:
*5 years’ experience in Embedded, OOD software testing and design utilizing C/C++
*Familiar with configuration management tool (CM)
*Experience with open architecture design, modular multi-use design as well as multi-core, multi-threaded development.
*Background in using middleware tools like Corba or DDS.
*Familiar in developing using POSIX/Linux (Red Hat).
*Knowledge of Radar applications
*Experience with digital signal processing algorithm to code translation.
*Current Active Secret Clearance and must be listed on resume to be considered
*4 year degree in a Computing or Engineering discipline



Pluses:
*Experience developing software for radar applications.
